‘Grant’-ed an opportunity

New Kent’s Educational Foundation presented a check for $10,667.98 to New Kent County Public Schools during the board’s Monday evening meeting. The amount covers 27 accepted grants by the organization to assist with instruction in the county schools. NKEF also announced that it garnered $27,000 from its annual Bowl-a-thon event.
