Christmas in Charles City

Above, members of Cub Scout Troop 504 based out of Charles City honor veterans with their float as they sing to onlookers as part of Charles City’s annual Christmas Parade held Saturday morning. More than 75 entries made their way down Courthouse Road as temperatures warmed up throughout the morning. Below, Parrish Hill Baptist Church’s Youth Department float is an eye-catching attraction as spectators wave. At bottom, Santa Claus continues to make his rounds through the local communities as he sends holiday greetings to girls and boys.
