Black elected to local FSA position

Charles City County’s United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director Ashlee W. Dalton has announced that G. David Black of Charles City was elected to represent local administrative area (LAA) 3 and Archer Ruffin III of Charles City will serve as the alternate after recent County Committee elections.

The County Committee, made up of local formers, are required by each FSA office and helps with day-to-day operations. Duties include helping deliver programs at the county level and serve the needs of local producers through decision making along with fair and equitable administration of programs.
