Brawley selected for leadership conference

Cameron Brawley, a JROTC Cadet Captain and sophomore at Charles City High School, has been selected to attend the Youth Leadership Conference on Apr. 19-22 in Jamestown.

With financial support from the Richmond Chapter of the Military Order of Word Wars, Cameron will attend the conference that focuses on leadership, patriotism, and the free enterprise system. Students will receive guidance from business professionals, guided tours of historical sites, leadership challenges, as well as classroom interaction.

Cameron received the bronze medal from the Military Order of World Wars last year and was chosen due to his high academics, leadership, and citizenship qualities.
