Hofmeyers represent Farm Bureau at conference

Dottie and Norman Hofmeyer of Charles City represented the Charles City-James City-New Kent-York County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee at the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation Women’s Spring Conference Mar. 16-18 in Roanoke

The duo joined more than 250 others at the conference entitled “Farming: Our Heritage, Our Future.” Among activities include educational workshops on how to work with media, engage consumers about food and agriculture in common language, employing technology, and embracing the power of positivity. Robert Mills Jr., the 2017 Swishwer Sweets/Sunbelt Expo Southeaster Farmer of the Year, was the keynote speaker at the event.
