Honoring victims of crime by candlelight

Above, community members, law enforcement personnel, and members of the justice system hold candles displaying a sign of unison to support victims of crime during Tuesday night’s candle vigil held on the steps of New Kent Courthouse. Approximately 50 people attended the event that honored those who overcame crimes in order to better their lives and those who assist victims to help them navigate through the process.
