Scholarship from Cul’s Grille

DeAndre Gardner (center), a senior at Charles City High School, is surrounded by family as he was named a recipient of a $500 scholarship check from Cul’s Courthouse Grill as part of the third annual Cyclist Celebration held Sunday afternoon in Charles City. Owners Bonnie Whitaker (second from left) and Cullen Jenkins (second from right) made the presentation in support to assist students in their future educational needs. Not pictured is Kourtney Wyatt, who is also a recipient of the monetary gift.
