Groundbreaking for Charles City Library

State dignitaries, local representatives, and members of Charles City’s Library Campaign Committee participate in Sunday’s groundbreaking ceremony for the new Charles City Library and Richard M. Bowman Center for Local History located adjacent to the county’s courthouse. The $3.5 million facility is expected to open next year, highlighting the 400th anniversary of the founding of Charles City County.
