Computers for kids

Bridging Communities and New Kent High School junior B.J. Leader (right) shows excited New Kent Elementary School first grader Julia Putze how to operate her new computer as part of the Virginia STAR event Wednesday afternoon. Each year, the event sponsors the refurbishment of computers to distribute to families throughout the region to assist students with completing school assignments at home. Refurbishments are completed by Bridging Communities students.
