NK Beta Clubs at nationals

Students of New Kent Elementary and New Kent Middle School Beta Clubs participated in the national convention in Savannah, Georgia. Several students were recognized for their success, earning accolades in a number of categories. Above, fourth grader Rylan Horne earned a second-place finish in the social studies category. Other winners and recognitions were fourth grader Camden Nogueras (eighth place, math), fifth grader Jillian Wilson (ninth place, science), the seventh and eighth grade team of Charlotte Verdu, Emma McCoy, and Liz Segreto (seventh place, advertising design), the seventh and eighth grade team of Serra Swartout, Sadie Call, Abby Powers, Hailee Roberts, and Maggie Duncan (seventh, Rapid Response Team), and seventh grader Abby Powers (National Leadership Student Representative).
