RCC offering diesel certificate program at New Kent site

Rappahannock Community College’s (RCC) New Kent Site will offer a Diesel Mechanics Technology Certificate program starting this fall.

The new certificate is designed to educate students in some skills as the Diesel Mechanics Technology Career studies, but will be geared more towards “soft skills” that are necessary to work at a medium to large-sized company.

“I’m excited about this program,” said RCC Diesel program lead instructor Steve Patt. “It will make our students more promotable within the field.”
