YADAPP mini-grant winners

New Kent High School students (l to r) Chandler Madison, Sarah McGinley, Mackenzie Verlander, and Leah Hamilton attended the Youth Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevent Project (YADAPP) Conference from July 16-20 at Longwood University. The quartet developed a drug and alcohol activity to raise awareness about the effects of substance abuse, winning a $250 mini-grant from YADAPP for their plan.
