Gold Award project

Senior Girl Scout Paige Hillis (seated) of Girl Scout Troop 177 based out of New Kent holds a plaque in recognition of her Gold Award Project. Paige launched a project to have benches placed along the school’s bus loop after noticing athletes were sitting on the grass while waiting for rides home on the activity bus. The project took approximately two years and has benefited the school.
