Another Girl Scout Gold Award

Sarah McGinley (left) of Girl Scout Troop 177 based out of New Kent presents a plaque to New Kent Middle School principal Kelley Gray to signify the completion of her Girl Scout Gold Award project. Sarah completed an area called “The Calming Center” that gives students a place to take a break during the day if they feel stressed out. The Gold Award is the highest honor that can be attained by a Girl Scout.
