Heritage Public Library launching sensory story time program

Heritage Public Library is launching a sensory friendly Story Time in October at the New Kent branch.

The interactive and educational program is geared towards children who identify on the autism spectrum or with sensory integration challenges. The story time will feature a visual schedule, books, interactive songs, and multi-sensory activity stations.

The program is made possible through a donation provided by New Kent’s Rotary Club. For information or special accommodations, call 966-2480.
