67th annual Chickahominy Fall Festival

Above, the introduction of the Tiny Tot dance honoring the youth of Native American Tribes brightened onlookers as part of the 67th annual Chickahominy Tribe’s Fall Festival and Pow-wow held on Sept. 22. The cultural event continues to bring in people from around the nation to learn the history and traditions of the Chickahominy Tribe. Below, Chief Stephen Adkins speaks about the tribe receiving federal recognition after several decades of fighting for it.
