Members of New Kent Christian Center’s Outreach Missions will travel to New Bern, North Carolina, to assist with relief efforts stemming from the effects of Hurricane Florence. The group will depart Oct. 12 and assist with serving meals, clearing falling trees, removing debris, excavate for demolition, and providing supplies to those in need. The expedition is expected to last one month and save thousands of dollars for affected homeowners.
