Charles City Christmas parade

Above, Parish Hill’s Baptist Church float entitled “Jesus, the Sweetest Name I Know” makes an impactful presence at Charles City’s Annual Christmas Parade Saturday morning. More than 90 entries traveled down Courthouse Road to brighten the holiday spirit for the young and young-at-heart. Holiday music was plentiful at the event as Charles City High School’s band (below) and New Kent High School’s band (bottom) provided tunes and carols for everyone to sing along with.
