Letter to the Editor: Thanks New Kent Sheriff’s Office for providing holiday joy to kids

During the holidays, it is a good time to remind our citizens how fortunate we are to live and raise our children in New Kent County. It is a time when we need to stop and reflect not only on the joy of the Christmas season, but take time to fully appreciate our amazing New Kent law enforcement officers who unselfishly give their time.

Their participation in the recent “Cops who Care” event was just one example of their humility and dedication to our county. The children showered them with hugs and smiles and truly know that they are to be admired and cherished.

Thank you all for making the citizens proud to live in New Kent!
