CCES takes part in ‘Virginia Reads One Book’

Fourth grade students at Charles City Elementary School read “Playground Millionaire” by Cleo Edison Oliver to media specialist Beth Buttner as part of the Virginia Reads One Book program Friday morning. Approximately 350 books were purchased through a donation by the Charles City Educational Foundation to provide each student in a school a book to promote the importance and fundamentals of reading.
