Math Challenge participants

Charles City High School students (l to r) Joseph LaPean, Luisa Saldanha Machado, and Jason Brown participated in the M3 Math Challenge on Mar. 2. The trio spent 14 hours to complete all exercises revolving around predicting the spread of nicotine among Virginia High School students over the next 10 years. While the group did not have all the information for the proper answer, the three students were among one of the first students from the school to take part in the event.
