Charles City Fire and EMS swearing in ceremony

Charles City Director of Fire and EMS James Johnson (right) welcomes Captain George Bridges (left) as part of swearing in ceremonies that took place Monday morning at the Charles City Government and Administration building. The two will assist with the continuing transition of Charles City County having paid firefighters and EMS staff to serve citizens in emergency situations.
