Richard inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society

Sydney Richard, the valedictorian of Charles City High School’s Class of 2016, has been inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi during the Spring 2019 semester.

Richard was initiated at Old Dominion University and is one of 30,000 students to earn the honor nationwide each year. In order to earn the distinction, a student must be in the top 10 percent of seniors or top 7.5 percent to earn eligibility.

The honor society recognizes students who “promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others.”
