Braxton Memorial Scholarship

Recent Charles City High School graduate Hunter Canaday (right) and Cameron Vaden (not pictured) are recipients of the Shana Braxton Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship, presented by William Braxton Jr. (left), is given in memory of the former student-athlete to provide monetary assistance in educational endeavors. A $750 donation was also presented to the Charles City High School athletic department to support the girls’ and boys’ basketball programs at the school.
