‘National Night Out’

Above, Charles City Deputy Cory Brown provides rides around Harrison Park as part of the National Night Out event held at Charles City. The nationwide event is used to help law enforcement bring awareness to the community as part of an outreach to promote safety, unity, and provide an outlet for safe and family fun. Below, new superintendent of New Kent County schools Brian Nichols (back row, left) is joined by (l to r) Thomas Carmen, Lizze Carmen, Theodore Bolan, and Curtis Bolan as he takes in one of his first events as a new resident of the area.
