United Way awards grants to Quin Rivers programs

The United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg has announced the award of two grants to support Quin Rivers that serves Charles City and New Kent.

Quin Rivers Agency for Community Action is the recipient of a $50,000 grant to support Charles City/New Kent Healthy Families, a program that provides home visitation services to young children and their families.

Quin Rivers has received a $30,000 grant for financial/housing counseling programs to provide intensive one-on-one and group financial counseling to individuals.

The grants are part of $8.7 million in regional funding that will be awarded between 2020 and 2022.
