Reading nook dedication

Alice Francisco Ruffin (left) and George Watkins Elementary School principal Russ Macomber (right) pose in front of the Shirley Francisco Reading Nook that was dedicated on Oct. 23 by New Kent’s Educational Foundation. Shirley Francisco served as a respected teacher for 27 years in New Kent County’s Public School system.
