Habitat for Humanity new homeowners

Above, LaShawn Roberts cannot hold her enthusiasm as she cuts the ribbon of her new home as she is one of three families to become new homeowners on Nov. 16 as part of Habitat for Humanity program in New Kent. Each home was built by volunteers and community members. Mortgages paid on these buildings by the new homeowners are passed forward to assist others in the program.
