New Kent Elementary School Junior BETA club winners

New Kent Elementary School’s Junior BETA club placed in several areas at the Junior BETA state convention in Hampton. Category winners are Liam Janke, Kendall White, Liam Young, Skyla Weedon, C.J. Veloso, Jonathan Nolasco, Morgan Miller, and Rylan Opett (1st place-engineering), Mia Forbes (1st place- performing arts), Tobey Davis (1st-Fifth grade math), Lily Newman, Jazmin Garcia-Neri and Scarlet Rodgers (2nd- Book Battle), Chandler Ashley (2nd- Fifth grade language arts), Ethan Parry (2nd- Fourth grade social studies), Aidan Horne (2nd-Fourth grade math), Thomas Cashin, Tanner Harper, Sebastian Yates, Orion Soderholm, Brooklyn Wiles, Sydney Miller, Jamie Martin, and Dwight Voelker (3rd- Living literature), Landon Evans (3rd-Fifth grade science), Jamie Martin (3rd-Creative writing), and Noah Barnett (3rd-Fifth grade social studies).
