Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma offering scholarships to seniors

The Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma is pleased to announce that the organization will be offering scholarship grants to New Kent High School seniors pursuing a college education at a community college, four-year institution, technical school, nursing school, or culinary arts field through Bridging Communities Regional Career and Technical Center.

To be eligible for the Scholarship Grant Award, a high school senior residing in New Kent can apply for the scholarship grant. The scholarship is based on financial/special needs, transcript of grades, future education, and community work/leadership. The deadline date for receipt of scholarship applications is May 1.

Applications for the scholarship grant are available through the counseling page on New Kent High School’s website at http://nkhs.newkentschools.org/students/school_counseling/scholarship_information. For students graduating from Bridging Communities, scholarship applications may be requested by email to Brenda Johnston at BRENbtj@aol.com.

Students will be responsible for submitting scholarship grant application package either electronically to Brenda Johnston or by mailing it to Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma, P.O. Box 212, Quinton, VA 23141.
