Girl Scout Gold Award recipient

Lauren Turner, a junior at New Kent High School and member of Girl Scout Troop 6571, received the Girl Scout Gold Award in April 2020. The award is the highest honor given in the organization and was awarded to Lauren for her project that incorporated a Disability Awareness Fair with education, sensory activities, and a movie event for the community.
