Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma announce scholarship winners

Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma has awarded three scholarships to New Kent County High School seniors.

Lindsey Johnson and Tyler Williams, two of the recipients who also attend Bridging Communities Career and Technical Center, were selected to receive technical scholarship grants to continue their studies in their respective trades. Johnson received a scholarship to continue her studies in nursing, while Williams will utilize his awards as he studies computer science. Both plan to continue their studies at Rappahannock Community College.

Haley Hyndshaw in the recipient of the LaSertoma International Scholarship and Grant. She received the $2,500 award and plans to attend Thomas Nelson Community College this Fall before transferring to earn a degree in occupational therapy.
