Charles City Library receives grant to assist with Wi-Fi services

The Charles City branch of Heritage Public Library has received funding from a federal grant that will allow additional Wi-Fi services to residents and visitors in the vicinity.

With the grant, the library installed a new long-range device that will provide access to the building’s Wi-Fi form further away.

The grant was the result from the federal e-Rate program. Access to the library’s Wi-Fi service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
