Free meals available for Charles City students until Dec. 31

Students who attend Charles City County Public Schools will receive free meals until Dec. 31, 2020.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved waivers for local school divisions to extend the Summer Food Service Program for free meals due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All children will be eligible for the free meals whether they are learning in-person or virtually and regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

Meals will be provided on a first come, first served basis every day at the back look of Charles City High School from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
