‘Spooky Sports’ parade

New Kent High School student-athletes, coaches, and volunteers handed out candy as part of the Spooky Sports parade held Friday afternoon in the New Kent Middle/High School complex. Using social distancing measures such as using tongs to pass out candy (above), kids wore costumes to celebrate Halloween while riding in vehicles as student-athletes distributed the treats. The parade served as a fundraiser to assist the high school’s athletic department.
