Baker’s dozen recognized by James Madison University for Fall 2020 academic achievements

Several local students were recognized with several academic honors from James Madison University for the Fall 2020 semester.

Julianna Jones of Lanexa, Marisa Turner of New Kent, and Molly Wallace of Quinton, were all named to the President’s List for the Fall 2020 semester. In order to be recognized for the achievement, a student must accumulate a grade-point average of 3.9 or higher while taking at least 12 graded credit hours.

Other students received Dean’s List recognition from the university for the Fall 2020 semester.

Alexis Batkins, Deborah Friend, Hannah Giewont, Caroline Hendrick, and Teresa Hohman, all from Quinton, Jada Cotman and Haley Holland, both of Providence Forge, Ellie Ferrell and Emma Villano, both of New Kent, and Tiffany Tolley, of Lanexa, all were named to the prestigious list. In order to be named to the Dean’s List, a student must accumulate a grade-point average of at least 3.5 and be taking at least 12 graded credit hours.
