J&J vaccination clinic replaced with Moderna in New Kent

A clinic originally scheduled to distribute the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to combat COVID-19 has been cancelled.

The clinic was originally scheduled to take place on Friday, Apr. 16. However, with the Commonwealth of Virginia and federal government ceasing the distribution as part of an investigation, New Kent will be offering the Moderna vaccine instead.

If you had an appointment originally scheduled, a New Kent County representative will contact you for rescheduling. The Moderna vaccination clinic will take place from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Walk-ins will also be accepted during this time.
