New Kent County to close COVID-19 vaccination clinics on May 21
New Kent County will cease with COVID-19 vaccination clinics at New Kent High School on Friday, May 21. Second doses of the Moderna vaccination will be administered through that date for those who received the first dose at the clinic.
“We are very pleased to say that over the last 13 weeks, we have held 16 vaccination clinics in partnership with the Chickahominy Health District here in New Kent County,” said District 1 Supervisor and New Kent Board Chairman Thomas Evelyn. “Approximately 5,942 vaccine doses have been administered at New Kent County vaccine clinics with a total of 3,489 people fully vaccinated to date.”
Those who live or work in New Kent and are at least 18 years or older can make an appointment to receive the vaccine by calling New Kent County’s COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at 966-9677. Appointments can be scheduled until Thursday, Apr. 22.
