VMFA Artmobile coming to New Kent in May

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) will be bringing their Artmobile to New Kent County in May.

In a partnership with New Kent Parks and Recreation and Arts Alive, the Artmobile will host the “A View from Home: Landscapes of Virginia” on May 21-22. The exhibit will have paintings, photographs, engravings, and more from the museum’s collection. COVID-19 safety protocol will be in place as masks are required and groups of 10 people will enter the exhibit for a 15-minute time period.

In addition to the VMFA exhibit, a local art contest will also take place for New Kent residents.
