Letter to the Editor: Enjoyed Charles City County’s Farmer’s Market

My husband and I very much enjoyed the First Annual Charles City County Farmer’s Market this past Saturday. Every vendor was polite and helpful, and each explained his or her product or service politely and completely.

The alpaca was very cute, and my husband discovered some great future gift items for his loving wife while sniffing the air in hopes of locating a fried foods vendor nearby.

I especially want to express how very impressed I was with one vendor. After purchasing an item and had a problem with it, the vendor returned to the marketplace and rectified it by allowing me to exchange it. What fantastic service!

I surely hope that the Charles City County Farmer’s Market continues and that a greater number of superb vendors participate. I want to see this become a really cool and popular event in the county. I certainly plan a repeat attendance.
