VASI scholarship

Steven Williams Jr. (right), a 2019 graduate of Charles City High School and rising junior at Virginia State University, is presented the Virginia Sheriff’s Institute (VASI) Scholarship by Charles City County Sheriff Alan Jones Sr. (left). The $1,000 scholarship is presented to a student who intends to work in the field of criminal justice upon graduation. Williams also currently works as a communications officer at the sheriff’s office.
