Baskets of gratitude

New Kent Lions Club presented thank you baskets to each of the five firehouses within the county during a recent excursion. The baskets were filled with treats and were given out as appreciation to Fire and EMT personnel for their services. Above, a Lions Club member Wanda Campbell (left) presented the goodies to firefighters stationed at the Eltham station on Sept. 13.
