Letter to the Editor: Thanks community for donations of plastic

New Kent County Lions Club would like to thank all the businesses and citizens that collected plastic for us.

We are excited to say that we have ordered our first bench for the community. We are still collecting plastic for a second bench, and we ask that you continue to save your plastic for us. We will be collecting items every first and third Wednesday in the parking lots of the Food Lions in Providence Forge from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and in Quinton from 3-5 p.m. If you cannot make it, please contact Debbie Ivey at 966-5870 to arrange for pick-ups.

Once again, thank you for the plastic. We greatly appreciate it very much.
