CCPS spelling bee champion

Annalee Steffen, a sixth grader at Charles City Elementary School, won the divisional spelling bee during the Mar. 3 competition. She successfully spelled the word “ached” to claim the win. She has also qualified as a regional competitor for the spelling bee after finishing in the top five of an online vocabulary test.
