DuVal first New Kent High School student to complete study abroad program

Joseph DuVal, a soon to be graduate of New Kent High School, is the first student to complete the school’s study abroad program.

DuVal completed his 2021-22 school year through a total immersion program in Seville, Spain. During his studies, he lived with a local Spanish family, attended local high school classes, and completed online course work through New Kent High School.

DuVal received assistance from New Kent High School guidance counselor Elizabeth Ahlfield to make the experience possible.
