Masquerade ball to benefit Bridges of Change Domestic Violence Shelter in New Kent

A masquerade ball to benefit the Bridges of Change Domestic Violence Shelter in New Kent will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24, 6 p.m. at Colonial Downs.

The Queen of Hearts Masquerade Ball will benefit Bridges of Change, a nonprofit domestic violence shelter that serves residents from surrounding jurisdictions, including Charles City.

“This event is an important outreach and fundraising opportunity where proceeds directly affect the operational consistency of the organization,” said Bridges of Change board member Mary Hamm. “The bold and fun nature of the event that includes live music, raffles, and an elegant aesthetic is guaranteed to be unforgettable.”
