Mr. and Mrs. Mikel Da'Von Chalmers (Tyler Arielle Billups)

God’s green Earth, intersecting against the beauty of his radiant blue sky, surrounded by a body of water was the setting as Tyler Arielle Billups and Mikel Da’Von Chalmers were married on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022 at Ford’s Colony Country Club in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Billups of Henrico, Virginia. She is a graduate of The College of William and Mary and VCU. She is employed as a site coordinator with a local affiliate of a national educational organization.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Chalmers Jr. of New Kent, Virginia. He is a graduate of Liberty University and is a certified financial planner with a national financial services organization.

The bride’s high school friends, Jessica Bagby and Rachel Mines, both of Henrico, Virginia, were the maids of honor. Other bridal attendants included Chelsea Allen, Shardae Smith, and Angel Wells, all of Henrico, Virginia; Travia Binford of New Kent, Virginia; and Chloé Manion of Los Angeles, California. Flower girls were Olive Chalmers, niece of the groom, of Durham, North Carolina; Riley Binford, cousin of the bride, of New Kent, Virginia; and Paisley Eubank, family friend, also of New Kent, Virginia.

Timothy Chalmers, of Durham, North Carolina, brother of the groom, and Kelante Fountaine, of Richmond, Virginia, cousin of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen included Brandon Bajramoski and John Hall, both of Lynchburg, Virginia; Michael Bajramoski of Reading, Pennsylvania; Blake Billups of Henrico, Virginia; Diego Castaño of Greensboro, North Carolina; and Justin Reed of Robinson, Texas. Ringbearers were Easton Binford, cousin of the bride, of New Kent, Virginia, and Damien Bentley, cousin of the groom, of Henrico, Virginia.

Pastor James Hobson of Lynchburg, Virginia officiated the ceremony. After the wedding, a reception was hosted in which upwards of two hundred guests celebrated with the bride, the groom, and their families.

The couple resides in New Kent, Virginia.
