Make-a-Wish in New Kent

New Kent Elementary School third grader Alyiah Luntzer receives a clubhouse as part of her Make-a-Wish on Nov. 23. Alyiah was born with Pumonary Atresia, Tetralogy of Fallot, Ventricle Septal Defect, and a chromosome deletion and has overcome many battles that include open heart bypass surgery, and open-heart surgery to replace her artificial valve. Her wish came as she desired a clubhouse based on a trip she had to Hawaii and wanted to bring the paradise experience to her backyard.
