Wayside Road in Charles City closing for bridge work

The bridge over West Run creek on Wayside Road in Charles City will be closed for a week for bridge rail repair work.

Starting Monday, Jan. 30, the bridge will be closed until Friday, Feb. 3, as repairs for the bridge will take place. The following detour will be in place:

–Northbound Wayside Road (Rt. 607): Take Barnetts Road (Rt. 609) to W. Run Road (Rt. 625) west to Kimages Road (Rt. 658) west back to Wayside Road.

–Southbound Wayside Road (Rt. 607): Take Kimages Road east to West Run Road east to Barnetts Road north back to Wayside Road.
