Black History Month recognition in Charles City

Charles City County’s Commissioner of the Revenue Denise Burrell Smith (right) is recognized by County Administrator Michelle Johnson (left) during a Feb. 2 ceremony as part of the county’s Black History Celebration. Smith is the longest serving Commissioner of the Revenue in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
